Interest rates are lower than they've been in about a year and the programs that got people into trouble to begin with are all about gone. Watching the Millionaire Inside may also help. Joining investment groups such as Northwest Real Estate Investors Association may give you some tools. Not sure you're ready? You need to buy right, get good tenants and good management, charge the correct rent and sell when the market is right. When tenants flush concrete down your toilet or leave without paying rent, you need to have funds to handle it so that you don't lose your shirt. Many people have great success with tenants - and they buy right. Take your time and buy right - but don't investigate so much you lose your chance to make money.
